Job Description
INTERNSHIP / FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
Overview:
Thurion Capital is seeking a highly motivated intern or fellow to support our end-to-end M&A process. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to lower middle market private equity from the buy side. You will help source acquisition opportunities, evaluate deals, and support due diligence. Ideal for candidates considering a career in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a deal pipeline by sourcing opportunities via broker relationships, online platforms, and direct outreach to small business owners

Evaluate opportunities by reviewing CIMs and preliminary documents against investment criteria

Build and update financial models and assist in valuation and deal structuring

Support due diligence, communication tracking, and transaction analysis

Collaborate with firm leadership to present findings and pursue attractive targets
Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Foundational accounting and financial modeling knowledge (e.g., P&L, cash flow, EBITDA)

High attention to detail and ability to synthesize information quickly

Tech-savvy (CRM tools, Excel, deal sourcing platforms)

Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent environment
