Location: Hybrid (FL, IN) with occasional in-person events
Hours: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week, flexible)
Compensation: $20 per hour base + Huge upside in uncapped commission (majority of comp)

Intrepid Prosperity is not a traditional recruiting firm, founded by a Special Forces veteran and entrepreneur who understands Talent. Intrepid Prosperity was first formed to help aspiring entrepreneurs achieve prosperity through small business acquisitions after our founder learned how to acquire a multi-million business for $30K out of pocket. Through experience as a small business owner, personal frustrations with a broken talent management system, and witnessing too many connections struggle to find meaningful opportunities, the shift to focus primarily on Talent management was made.

Who You Are
You are entrepreneurial, persuasive, and self-directed. You're competitive and love to win. You thrive in fast-moving environments where autonomy is the norm. You’re a recruiter, business developer, or high-output sales professional with a strong network and a bias for action. You’re just as comfortable filling a hard-to-source role as you are closing a new client.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Source, screen, and assess candidates for a variety of industries (GovCon, small business, lower middle market)
- Evaluate fit using behavioral profiling tools and hiring analytics
- Manage candidate pipelines via CRM and ATS
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience and streamline the hiring process
Business Development
- Identify and develop new client opportunities
- Communicate Intrepid Prosperity’s value proposition to founders, operating partners, and proposal leads
- Execute outreach and follow-up campaigns using CRM systems
- Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies for new clients
Account & Relationship Management
- Own and maintain a book of business, with repeat or project-based client needs
- Participate in in-person networking events, meetups, or industry mixers where relevant
- Build long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Self-starter who is accountable and comfortable making independent decisions. Completely self-motivated to get after it and create their own destiny.
- Persuasive communicator who can engage cold leads and convert them into long-term relationships
- Proficient with digital platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, CRM/ATS systems, and AI tools)
- Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, hunter mindset
- Values relationship-building and follows through on commitments
- Sales skills, not the used car saleman, but the person that can talk to people, relate, understand their painpoints and develop solutions.
- Rejection doesn't phase you.
Light Performance Metrics (Guiding Expectations)
- Consistent pipeline generation for both candidates and clients
- Engagement and conversion rates for outreach efforts
- Placement success and client satisfaction
- CRM and ATS data quality and timeliness
- Participation in events and sourcing activities aligned with our customer base
Preferred Qualifications
- Located near Bloomington / Indianapolis IN, or Tampa FL, and able to attend in-person events occasionally
- Existing warm network in small businesses, GovCon, or PE-backed sectors
- Experience recruiting
